Twitter Media: A new home for publishers on Twitter

People turn to Twitter to discover what’s happening in the world. It’s a role we’re extremely proud of – and one we know we can only accomplish in partnership with publishers. Without their coverage and commentary on the latest in news, sports, and entertainment, there wouldn’t be nearly as much worthwhile content for us to read, watch, and Tweet about.

We may host the global conversation, but it’s the journalists, athletes, actors, musicians, and other public figures who work with publishers that lead it. As a platform, it’s our job to support them with publishing tools, best practices, and revenue products that make the time and energy they invest in Twitter worthwhile.

For the last decade, Twitter’s content partnerships team has actively managed successful relationships with thousands of publishers around the world; consulting on everything from content strategy to revenue growth, account management, and security.

Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of Twitter Media, a new website for publishers to learn how to get the most out of Twitter. Twitter Media allows us to scale our team’s work by giving content publishers a resource that’s both inspirational and practical, featuring:

  • Best practices from the most successful content publishers across Twitter, curated by Twitter’s news, sports, and entertainment partnerships teams.
  • The latest information about new products and features designed specifically for content publishers.
  • An easy-to-navigate help section curating answers to the most common questions we get from content publishers every day.

Today’s launch is just the start. Twitter Media will also be regularly updated with case studies to share success stories from innovative partnerships, as well as a blog focused on helping content publishers stay up-to-date with the latest tools for publishers on Twitter.

For the content publishers we already work with, we’re confident our new site can provide answers when you need them and free up time for us to dedicate to bigger, bolder collaborations. And for content publishers that we haven’t yet partnered with, we hope Twitter Media will be a path to developing a closer relationship, introducing you to the work we do and providing inspiration for how you can grow on Twitter.

Check out Twitter Media today and follow @TwitterMedia for future updates.
