O2 transforms customer service in real time with #TweetServe

O2 has made mobile account information accessible to customers in real time through Twitter with the launch of a new programme called #TweetServe.

The service lets customers sign up and tweet @O2 nine different hashtag commands to receive a range of account information, handset updates and special offers in the form of a Twitter direct message.

#TweetServe marks the next stage of our digital customer service transformation, which reflects the changing expectations of our customers.

To get started, users simply follow @O2 on Twitter and tweet “@O2#TweetServe”. The customer will then be followed by @O2 and receive a Twitter direct message with a verification code to ensure security.
