If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to become a Twitter expert, you’re in luck. We’re excited to announce that Twitter Flight School, our free online education program, is now available to advertisers around the world in 16 languages.

We first launched Twitter Flight School in 2014 to help agencies learn how to build buzz, launch products, drive sales, and instantly connect with a highly engaged audience on Twitter. Since then, nearly 15,000 people from Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG), WPP, Omnicom, and other companies have completed the coursework.

The response was so positive that we decided to launch a version of Flight School for non-agency marketers. The new, interactive curriculum for brands is packed with exclusive consumer insights and research, in-depth product tutorials, and fresh case studies. Marketers who sign up for Flight School will also gain access to a trove of tips and downloadable presentations they can use to develop campaign ideas and prepare for senior-level meetings.

Brands are eager to get started. Megan McLaughlin, global digital marketing advisor at Nestlé, plans to enroll her marketing teams from around the globe.

Twitter Flight School is an easy way to build a deeper understanding of how Twitter works, and how to use it to engage with consumers and be a part of the live conversation.

Students begin by selecting a job-specific “flight path.” Executives can learn how to use Twitter to build their personal brands and inspire thought leadership, while mid-level marketers can brush up on day-to-day Twitter content planning and budget allocation. Both paths contain a handful of courses that take less than an hour to complete, and can easily be done from a desk or a phone.

The courses include:

  • Twitter 101
  • How to create and manage objective-based campaigns
  • How to integrate Twitter into a TV campaign
  • How to drive website traffic and conversions

When marketers graduate, they’ll be ready to design, launch, and manage innovative Twitter campaigns to achieve goals ranging from awareness generation to sales. We’ll recognize their expertise with a printable certificate and an official badge to display in their email signatures or on their LinkedIn profiles.
