Launching Twitter Media Studio

By Guy Snir
Tuesday, 30 August 2016

In June, we shared a variety of ways that Twitter is investing in video, including longer video, new ways to explore video, and better ways for creators to connect with their fans. Today, we are announcing new tools that will bring video creators around the world the ability to upload, manage and publish media more efficiently and effectively than ever before.

Media Studio, which replaces video.twitter.com, is an even more comprehensive desktop destination where you can access all of our video publishing tools and resources in one place.
It includes new features which could be valuable to any professional creators who upload video content to Twitter.

Features include:

  • New unified media library where you can access all of your media (videos, GIFs, and images) from one place
  • New video Tweet scheduling and planning capabilities that provide the ability schedule an unlimited number of video Tweets and collaborate with team members
  • New account access / permissions controls so you can more effectively monitor and switch between multiple accounts.
  • Improvements in stability and upload performance

Monetisation
We are also exploring the best ways for creators to seamlessly monetise content and generate revenue from their Twitter videos. The Twitter Amplify Publisher Programme, our pre-roll monetisation tool for creators, is currently available to approved creators in the US.

However, international creators continue to have the ability to generate their own revenue by creating content with brands with Niche, the creator-first platform that provides creators with the ability to grow, understand, and monetize their social presence across all networks. A part of the Twitter family since 2015, Niche works with 35,000 creators worldwide alongside top brands to develop authentic and resonating branded content.

How to get started? Easy!

  • Visit studio.twitter.com for Media Studio access. For those not already signed-up, you can apply for access here.
  • To sign up for Niche, head to Niche.co to get started.
