Artists rock out in front of Twitter mirror, Vine booth at GRAMMYs

Tuesday, 28 January 2014

The stars were out at the 56th annual GRAMMY Awards, posing for a Twitter mirror and taking a virtual spin in the Vine booth.

There were three Twitter mirrors at the ceremony, conveniently located for artists to snap a quick photo for fans on their way to perform, present and accept awards. It captured the night’s biggest stars backstage, from music legends like Stevie Wonder to contemporary sensations like @katyperry.

The Twitter mirror was also featured twice during the @CBS broadcast. Once, the camera showed Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) and friends posing in front of the mirror, which sends out the pictures as Tweets from the official Grammy account (@TheGRAMMYs).

The night before, the Vine booth sat front and center to capture 360-degree videos of the artists as they walked down the red carpet at the iconic Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala.

The hashtag #GRAMMYs was shown on air, so that fans and artists alike could take part in the conversation about the biggest winners and stars of the night.
