Helping a new era of Techstars build data-driven solutions

Wednesday, 21 October 2015

The Twitter data ecosystem creates valuable and innovative solutions that are built on Twitter data. We’re always looking to spur this innovation, and that’s why we’re excited to announce that Twitter is partnering with Techstars to provide access to our data products for startups participating in Techstars accelerator programs around the world. We’ll also be available to give product guidance and feedback to help these innovative startups make the most of the data.

We believe this program can help smart companies be even smarter. We have a team focused on identifying and meeting with startups around the world that are building their products on Twitter data. What better way to discover and help more of these startups in their evolution than by joining up with an established accelerator like Techstars.

This project gives us the opportunity to share some of our Twitter-specific product and business knowledge — based on what we see in the market — to help guide early-stage companies who want to build on Twitter data, or want to learn how to better leverage Twitter data within their tools.

Giving startups the chance to access Twitter data and feedback from Twitter while they’re in the accelerator program is such a great opportunity. We’re excited about all of the possibilities this relationship can bring to our companies.

David Cohen, Techstars

We’re thrilled to be working with the ever-growing Techstars network, and want to contribute to their experience while in the program. The power of Twitter data continues to transform the way the world operates and Techstars is transforming the way the next generation of great companies are launched. You can learn more about this partnership on the Techstars’ blog here, and we can’t wait to see what the combination Twitter Data + Techstars yields!
