The @NBA season is finally here! After an action-packed offseason on Twitter — featuring the @NBADraft, Free Agency, and the men’s @usabasketball gold medal run at the #Rio2016 Games — the road to an NBA championship begins for 30 determined teams.
#GoLive with the NBA on Twitter
This offseason, the NBA and Turner Sports announced the creation of two new live weekly shows to be streamed exclusively on Twitter. “The Starters Twitter Show” and “The Warmup” premiere this week and will be produced from the Turner Sports studios in Atlanta. To view the streams, visit thestarters.twitter.com, thewarmup.twitter.com, and follow @NBA.
“The Starters Twitter Show” will stream live on Twitter each Tuesday (11:00 am ET) throughout the regular season. Featuring co-hosts J.E. Skeets (@jeskeets) and Tas Melas (@TasMelas), along with contributors Trey Kerby (@treykerby), Leigh Ellis (@LeighEllis), Matt Osten (@StartersMatt) and Jason Coyle (@startersjd), the program will deliver their trademark passion for the game with the same fun, entertaining, and engaging content that they provide each week on NBA TV and through their podcasts.
“The Warmup” is a blend of the NBA, lifestyle, music, and pop culture, and will be a weekly NBA pregame show that integrates Twitter conversation into every program. The 30-minute show will stream live from Turner Studios’ new state-of-the-art social content studio beginning Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 pm ET and co-hosted by sports and entertainment commentator Ben Lyons (@iamBenLyons) and emcee, DJ and sports personality Ro Parrish (@RoParrish). Both personalities have a wide range of experiences across television, radio, social and digital content, including host and guest appearances on prominent national shows.
On TV, the NBA returns to TNT (@NBAonTNT), ESPN (@ESPNNBA and @ESPN), and NBA TV (@NBATV). Make sure to follow Twitter alongside each live broadcast and turn to each handle between games for the latest NBA news and commentary.

The NBA will also tip off the season with a special tribute to Craig Sager, the iconic TNT sideline reporter, and his ongoing fight against leukemia. An exclusive Twitter emoji will appear when fans tweet using #SagerStrong throughout opening week.
